The Doody Hunters Service Agreement

This is not a contract. It is a simple agreement between you and Doody Hunters Ltd.  

Holidays

Doody Hunters does not operate on Sundays

Statutory holidays: New Year’s Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Civic, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Remembrance Day, Christmas, and Boxing Day. 

If service falls on one of these days, my service will resume the next day.

Winter Conditions:

Extreme weather conditions (high winds, cold temperatures, heavy snow and rain) may cause interruptions in my service days.

If roads are not safe, and temperatures are below -20, service will be pushed back and will resume as soon as conditions improve.

During the winter the months I am responsible to keep the access to my gate shoveled as toprevent the buildup of ice around my gate in the spring.

The best practice is to keep the  dog waste to specific area in your back yard will ensure your yard stay clean and can makes contamination to one area.

Summer Conditions Weekly Dog Waste Removal:

Grass must be maintained and kept to city standards. Doody Hunters Ltd will not service yards with overgrown grass and weeds.

Doody Hunters can service any surface but it should be noted that Doody Hunters does not clean dog runs with large rocks or bark chips.

Upon commencement of my service I will be placed on a route to be serviced once a week. Doody Hunters will send notification by email if there was anything abnormal found l in my dogs waste.

Access to Yard:

Doody Hunters requires an unlocked functional and working gate.

Doody Hunters staff will not climb any fences or risk injury or spend an inordinate amount of time while trying to access troublesome gates and locking mechanisms.

If Doody Hunters is booked for a clean up and we are unable to access your property due to a faulty or locked gate, you may be charged for the trip.

One Time Service/ Spring Clean Up:

One time SPRING CLEAN UP is 89.99

WE DO NOT CLEAN UP AREAS THAT CONTAIN BARK CHIPS OR ROCKS. 

This includes 1 x 5 gallon pails, and that each pail after that is $30 per pail.

If the yard has more than three weeks build up of dog waste a onetime clean up will need to be completed before your weekly service can start.

If your dog has pooped in flower bed and under trees that are hard to gain access Doody Hunters will NOT clean this area. This is the responsibility of the home owner.

Our website is a guide to help Doody Hunters staff estimate how much waste is going to be present when we arrive. If additional pails are removed the customer will be billed for the extra cost at $30 per pail  

Cat Litter Box Service

Each week I will receive 4 - 6 boxes with clean fresh litter inside delivered to my home every week.

Extra boxes are available for for those who wish to buy them for 3.99 per box.

Boxes must be placed in an area that is accessible and visable to Doody Hunters staff when they arrive.

Boxes that are damaged or vandalized upon pick up will be charged back to the customer at a rate of $10 per bin.

Aggressive dogs:

Doody Hunters perfers to perform their duties with the dogs not in the yard .

If the dogs are in the yard when Doody Hunters staff  are not able to perform or complete the services, due to a locked gate or dog in the yard, the customer will still bill me for the service.
