Meet the Team Behind DoodyHunters

DoodyHunters was founded in 2020 by Mark and Darren, two Canadian Armed Forces veterans who served our country for a total of 10 years. As a veteranowned pet waste management company, we are dedicated to transforming how pet owners both think about and deal with their furry friends’ fallout. Built on four foundational pillars —Sustainability, Humility, Innovation, and Trust, our mission is to help pet owners not only keep up with this never-ending task but also to move beyond traditional means of disposal by creating an circular system that aims to reduce our reliance on plastic bags, divert the waste from landfills and ultimately transform it into a useable resource. Guided by these pillars, we look for opportunities to educate our communities, protect our environment, and deliver cleaner, greener spaces for people to enjoy with their pets.

We offer more sustainable solutions and eco-friendly alternatives to traditional pet products and services. Our vacuums are fitted with biodegradable bags so the waste can be properly composted. We also offer an organic, pet safe deodorizing spray, which works wonders for every pet space, and it's made right here in Alberta! For our feline families, we have designed a unique litterbox exchange program, called "Litter Express", in which we use an all-natural, hard clumping barley litter, sourced from Saskatchewan, and we deliver a clean, prefilled box, right to our customers doorsteps, then we take away the used one. The litter is also sold separately should you not want the service but would still prefer an eco-friendly alternative to traditional clay litters. It’s so earth friendly in fact, even the bag is compostable!
